Blessed Beyond Measure

Yesterday was Monday and I try to post on Mondays.  But, honestly, no matter how hard I tried I could not think of anything to say.  No doubt, it is a good thing Hubbie doesn’t read the blog as he would either – 1…having a horribly good laugh or 2….be out on the floor flabberghast!  Me – nothing to say??

Well, nothing for a blog, I suppose.  Sure, the weather has been gorgeous and the leaves are so pretty right about now.

But, really just how much can you blog about the weather?  Some days I just like to READ blogs:)

and today was Tuesday’s Question on Lois’ blog…..

Use one word to finish this phrase:  God is

and, yes, she emphasized one word.  There were so many good answers – especially faithful – but I think I’m going with

God is Good

I heard this song for the first time – to me, at least, last week!  Loved it!  I’m told it is “an oldie but goodie” but I’d never heard it.  This is just the chorus…..

I have been blessed, God's so good to me, precious are His thoughts of you and me.  No way I could count them there's not enough time, so I'll just thank Him for being so kind.  God has been good, so good.  I have been blessed.

Yes, indeed.  Happy Tuesday, friends.

  1. I'm touched - and blessed to read your blog and your tribute to your precious son. AND to hear the words you speak as a testimony to the Lord's goodness. Always, in the deep waters - He is there. I'm thankful for His goodness in my life as well.

    Good to meet you!

  2. Love it! I've never heard that song before! It's beautiful. I'm finding myself so very grateful for everything lately and sometimes just in tears over how good God has been to me. And that word is a beautiful testimony for your life with all you've been through Jennifer! And, yes, the leaves are pretty as well! Enjoy your day!

  3. Good morning! I am amazed at the amount of people who post EVERYDAY and have something new and interesting to say! haha.... I feel like ALL of mine are somewhat the same. Today I did this or that...blah blah blah...lol. My hubby would fall on the floor laughing too if I said I've NOTHING to say....Anyway, I loved Lois's question. Sooo many words can describe our God. Good is hard tro beat. I know another song that sings that and it is stuck in my head right now. I hope it sticks there all day! Have a wonderful day my friend! HUGS

  5. Hi Jenn,
Thanks for stoppin by, glad you got a kick out of our different Anniversary dinner..........it definitely was an awkward thing.....mainly because the Mgr. kept disappearing for long stretches of time, and we would be discussing things in between about the place, and when the Mgr. would come by we would be laughing about it, and just be quiet and smile, so
it was really annoying and funny all at the same time...........
but the rest of the evening was very good.

and I think God is Amazing!
and Lois is right that is a great testimony for you to say, God is good with what you have gone thru.
I agree her thoughts!! and I agree with you that God is good!

My friend told me at church on Sunday that she had or was going to touch base with you thru email. She is looking better every time I see her, I think the ministry she and another lady are doing is really helping her a lot. Thanks for reaching out to her, she really did appreciate it, and so did I.............

Hope you are having a great week,
    my friend,
    Blessings, Nellie
